Located in a natural amphitheatre, between Caponero and Capo Sant'Ampelio, the town of Ospedaletti is one of the most beautiful tourist centre in the so-called Riviera dei Fiori; in fact, every year this centre, which is about six kilometers far from Sanremo, attracts thousands of people from Italy and other countries who are fascinated by its natural and architectonical beauties.
Being inside a gulf, currents make waters always crystal-clear and clean in this small inlet: that is the reason why Ospedaletti has been awarded many times with the prestigious prize of Bandiera Blu. There are numerous beaches, some free, others private; you can find a lot of bathing resorts and lidos that are able to offer all the comforts and services you need: bars, restaurants, play areas for children, nobody will be disappointed. The coast is mostly made up of gravel and small, smooth pebbles; sea waters are calm so that they are recommended also for families with younger children. Sports lovers have the chance to do several activities, such as swimming, canoeing, water-skiing and windsurfing; for those who are not expert in those sports, there are numerous courses and lessons both for adults and children. Even at night the town is full of entertaining activities: after having a delicious dinner in one of the many restaurants overlooking the sea, where you can taste the specialties of local tradition, you can move to night clubs or discos where you can spend the whole night dancing with your friends.
