The lovely Sicilian town of Mazara del Vallo is located at the mouth of the river Màzaro, after which it is named, and is one of the most enchanting and popular places in the whole region.
Mazara del Vallo is mostly renowned for its beaches: the coast is large and characterized by several coves and natural inlets where you can stop and enjoy the hot of the sun and the coolness of sea waters. One of the most beautiful places to go is undoubtedly Tonnarella, a lovely beach extending for few kilometers not so far from the built-up area. Particularly, the Arab district of "Kasbah" is surely worth visiting for it is very picturesque and charming.
