Located in the Riviera Ligure di Ponente, between the promontories of Caprazoppa to the West and Capo Noli to the East, Finale Ligure is one of the most popular town in Liguria thanks also to its mild climate. Not so far from the built-up area you can find the sea with its calm and warm waters; the coast is more than 14 kilometers long; in fact, the beach of Finale Ligure is the longest – and largest – in the Ligurian Region. The sand is very fine and golden – indeed its colors range from gold to white, and pink too – here and there are some pebbles smoothed by the sea waves. Close to the coast there is a vast expanse of palm trees. Part of the beach is used as free area, other parts are well-equipped in order to provide tourists with all services they need; there are many play areas designed for children so that they can safely enjoy themselves.
Finale Ligure offers the chance to do many sports, particularly water sports such as swimming, canoeing and windsurfing; for those who are fond of diving, we recommend diving excursions for the marine fauna is characterized by an incredible variety. In fact, the town faces the so-called "Cetacean Sanctuary" and it is not unusual to meet dolphins or even some whales. Thanks to the splendid and uncontaminated nature, you can have a walk, ride a horse or a bike, or go rock-climbing: the climbing paths are several with different difficulties.
In Finale Ligure even the night is full of entertainments: there are many places to go overlooking the seaside promenade, so you can choose to have dinner in one of the several restaurants or pizzerias along the coast; there are plenty of discos and night clubs, too, where you can spend funny nights together with you friends.
