Ceriale is a municipality in the province of Savona, located in the Riviera di Ponente, to the Eastern end of the Albenga plane, exactly halfway between the town of Genoa and the French border. The town lies at the foot of the mount Croce (541 meters) and its municipal territory is included in the Consortium of Mountain Areas of Ingauna. Thanks to its peculiar geographical position, to the East of the Albenga plane, this centre combines agricultural activities with tourism. The latter is very flourishing: every year thousands of Italian and foreign tourists come to Ceriale attracted by the mild climate in Spring and Autumn, and by its sea, beaches and entertaining activities in Summer.
Beaches are golden, waters are crystal-clear, limpid and shallow; tourists can do the typical water sports here, first of all swimming and beach volley. The sea breeze blowing regularly allows to do other sports such as sailing, surfing and windsurfing; of course, scuba divers will be also satisfied, and they will be assisted by our skilled and experience staff. For those who love nature there are many excursions arranged and trekking paths. There are a lot of accommodation facilities of several types in order to meet any requirement: they range from luxury hotels to residences, from boarding houses to campsites.
Ceriale built-up area develops along a straight stretch following the line of the beach and has at its side the pleasant promenade adorned with palm trees and other green areas, ideal for walking during the summer nights: from here you can also enjoy a wonderful view of the gulf.
